Viewing Items in the Search Result List

When you perform a search in Almagest for images, objects, or any other items in the database, the database items are displayed in a Search Result List. From this list, you can access the database records for each of the items in the search. The record details include item-specific attributes and the images that are related or linked to the item.

To view the database record for an item returned in the Search Result List:

1. Perform the search for relevant database items.
   
2. Click the See object record link (or Title link) for the item you want to view. Uncatalogued images or other media files (those not associated with an Almagest object) will not have this link.
   
3. The default object display view, the Basic Data "tab" (or link), shows a thumbnail, summary data, and attributes for the database element.
   
4. Click the Images "tab" (or link) to view a list of the database elements that are associated to the current database element through the linking feature.
