Lecture Navigation and Keyboard Shortcut Keys

Once the lecture is displayed (see Displaying a Lecture for instructions), there are several ways to navigate through the contents.

In most lecture Display Modes, the lecture window is divided into two parts: the main lecture display and the navigation bar. The main lecture display shows the enlarged lecture images (and, in some Display Modes, text). The navigation bar shows information about the current or next lecture page as well as buttons to move through the lecture pages.

**NOTE: To view a lecture without the browser frame and toolbars, click the F11 key at the top of your keyboard.

The elements of the navigation bar are described below.

Click to show the next or previous lecture page in the navigation bar (note: this action does not change the main lecture display)
Lecture Page Number:

Click to change the main display to the selected lecture page (all images)
Thumbnail Image Click to change the associated column in the main display to the selected image (selected image only)


You can also navigate through the lecture without the use of the navigation bar. While the focus is set to the main lecture display, the following keyboard short-cut keys can be used to page through a lecture.
